the GS's did have the same color door handles. here's the door handle story lol in the SAME FREAKING DAY i pulled both the driver side and passenger side door handles off my car (don't ask how, it was a sign from God b/c i was talking about selling my car at the time) so i had to buy new/aftermaket handles from Ebay and just never painted them. btw... door handles are a PITA to install!

Guys I don't have the vehicle here but I have found some paper work from the vehicle I hope helps to make a determination on runing it w/o a Turbo.

ok, so its a GS-T. with all of the problems that you are having so close to the time of it's purchase... my hypothesis is that the previous owner knew the engine was about to take a crap and sold it as quickly as he could. you say that the crank and 2 rods seized up... what exactly does that mean? if the crank seized up the car would not run. it's possible that your car has crankwalked, and turbo has gone out on it. not a cheap fix if i'm correct. that would mean you would need a bootom end rebuild and a new turbo minimum depending on the damage that was caused. but this is only 1 theory, it could be many other things wrong.

Its a 4g63t (the motor code) does this sound like someone rigged a motor that was going to crankwalk or tried to invent a way to repair it to get rid of it... Disconnected the turbo to give it less power, thusly putting less pressure on the motor (slowing down the signs of crankwalk), then sold it to this guy? Thats all theoretical, btw... lol... but it IS a 4g63t... stick or auto?

im gonna second with RC there i cant imagine your crank locking up like that but if it did then you have quite a problem there did you test drive the car and inspect it before you bought it b/c problems like that would have been a little difficult to hide or cover up even if he had wanted to...
