Default Turbo kit good idea or bad?

Ive got a 98 GS. I need some help and info on where I should go as far as making it a better car. I noticed 1500 will get you a decent turbo kit. My car has 75k. I would love to go this direction but whats it worth if the car already has 75k? I appreciate the help im learning. Thanks.

get a turbo kit...http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...n%26safe%3Doff

try this site if it pops up..im gonna get one and i got a 96 gs with about 100,000 mil...just take care of it,maybe get some remanufacturing done, port and polish, new belts,pumps,rods,pistons..itll last..of course the 420a which i have is known for blowing the head gasket seals or w/e..but it doesnt happen every 5,000 miles..its worth it..

k mauger....i want to know what you have cuz so far all i have seen is stupid posts from you. Do you have any idea how much money that would cost him to do all that stuff. Its gonna cost atleast 2-3k for a good turbo kit. Now lets look at everything else, you need to upgrade fuel, tuning, guages, internals if you want more than 8-10psi, cometic head gasket, ect ect...

Now add all this crap up and youll be well over 5k and if you dont do the internals and stay 8psi maybe it will cost about 4-5k. But now you spent a whole 5k to make a car go high low 14's maybe high 13's where it would only cost about 1k to do that in a gst/gsx. And you have a less reliable engine with boost on a NA motor. No point IMO. Why spend all that money. Talk to RCJ about this. He spent about 3k on his 420a and was very adiment in TC his car, even when we told him not to waste the money. After all the money spent he realized how much more he still had to spend and found it wasnt worth it.

some people with the 420a want to keep that motor like myself.i dont need to have a 9 second car just something to have fun in and blow away little hondas once in a while..if your lookin for serious racing then go ahead get a gst,gsx..of course its a lot of money but someone who buys a car knows that it isnt cheap

so your gonna spend 4k just to be able to beat a honda?? I dont really see the point in that. Cuz it comes right back to the situation where, the difference between a GS and a GST in price is maybe 2-3k and that beats a honda stock, and then you have a better platform

the only way to make a GS or RS fast is to drive it off a cliff.

hahaha shut up you!! hahaha.... i love my 420a =( well, with all due seriousness... the 420a is not a good platform for forced aspiration... agreed with TE you should look up into a 4g63 before money burns your pockets

hey i owned a RS, im allowed to talk crap about it. but seriously 420a's are pretty much just ment to look nice, no performance can be expected to come out of it with out a crap load of cash and even then your better off getting a gst or gsx....
