All jokes to the side... Its really a waste of money to try and make your GS/RS fast... They make really good daily drivers, but if you want something with speed, get a GST or GSX.. The GST is perfect for someone that isnt looking to be launching and racing all the time.. Its fun/responsive and faster than honda's

yeah i was about to get a 2000 si,but then when i felt a gst i had to take it.

I have read a lot of the posts on engines for the Eclipse. Are there any other engines that will fit into the Eclipse RS? I know the Neon uses the 420a, but are there hotter engines made by mitu or dodge that will fit in the eclipse?

engine swaps for the RS and GS are not worth it, by the time you get done with the swap, your better off getting a gst or gsx....plus i heard something about the engine bay being 4 inches smaller than the turbo eclipses and causing clearance issues....its not worth it bro.
