Default turbo timer

HKS type 0. Why the hell is my turbo timer not counting down? It just stares at me and the car continues to run. It can't be a wiring problem. I actually bought the adapter harness for it back in the day. haha it was my first mod. The only wire that is spliced is the e-brake wire, and if that isn't connected properly, the car just shuts down. (I know because i actually cut it on accident once cutting a zip tie and the car would just shut off after the key was removed) anyway... now it stays on and won't count down... This is probably the culprit for my dead battery. Thanks guys. I appreciate your help.
