all depends how vigerous you are with the throttle.

Say... if you are in third gear... 1krpm... and stick it to the floor. You will hit dead 0 (no vac or boost) and then when you get to like 1.5-2k rpm you will start to hit boost and you will have like 3-5psi by then. Then by the time you hit 3k rpm you should be at full boost.

Its hard to explain really. It all has to do with the load that is currently on the engine. For example if you are in third and put your foot half way down on the throttle you will boost a little over 5psi or something. Then when the rpms come to a stop (they stop climbing because you are only half throttle) you will not be boosting anything because there is no load on the engine. So if you suddenly came to a really steep hill with the throttle in the same position the load on the engine will be much higher because its uphill... and you will boost a little. Thats why in first gear you may not always hit full boost because it is so easy for the engine to pull you because of the low gear ratio... but in higher gears thats much harder... causing more load. Its sooo damn hard to explain. Thats the best i can do... i hope that helps.

its really simple. You beat on the car, you want to let it sit before you shut it off. Its really that basic. You can try and get technical with it, but its pointless. A turbo timer is just a luxury item to have.
