Well if it already has a timer I'm guessing you're lookin on info on how to use it? I'd recomend leaving it be for now and seeing how things are goin and how the car runs...

Uumm... Well... Actually... My turbo car isn't running at the moment and I haven't thought about getting a timer yet. I'm doing alot of work on the car and once it's running I'll think about a timer. I need to get the guage pod and get the guages installed first.

Well with a turbo timer you want to set it depending on how bad you will be beating on your car. If you wont really be beating on the car often then ussually you only need like 30 sec. If you really beat on it then you want to set it to around 2 min. But as a good rule of thumb 1 min. is good to just leave it as a setting. I am not sure with whatever one you have, how to set it , but im sure whatever you have it will be very easy.

a turbo timer keeps the car running with out needing the key in. so he sets it to idle for 1 minute after he gets out and shuts it off after the 1 minute timer is up the car shuts down.

what a turbo timer does is allow your car to continue running after the key is taken out and you have shut it of. It allows the turbo to cool before shutting off. This extends the life of it. So for 1 minute your car will still run. Then shut off on its own
