What is the best turbo for a 98 eclipse?

 

well i know that im saving for a fp3065

 

what is the full name of that turbo and who makes it.

 

How handy are you with tuning/installing? That is a pretty big turbo for a beginner. How long have you been looking at these cars and making power.

What type of power do you want to make? That turbo will require a built motor to get its full potential.

 

I am buying parts to pull the motor and turbo ready it. Im buying pushrods pistons heads ect... I plan to get a high power turbo but cant find a kit. It would be nice to have someone tell me a kit I can find look at and buy. Im new to the import cars but read up on them before I got my firebird fomula. when I got that and worked on it I forgot most I read up on. now that it is in storage and I just got my 98 eclipse rs I find that it is a nice car with many parts I can buy. Please tell me a kit I can buy so I can get my *** in gear.

 

a t/3 t/4 is also a good turbo

 

Yea, there are tons of those out there and they are very solid units. My roomate used to be a saab tech and he has a guy that he can get those from cheap. Maybe I should look into getting a setup for one of those on mine.

 

For your RS, there is kits made by STAR and HAHN. They use 50trim and 20g style turbos and make over 400whp in certian applications. Look around and you will find what you need. Type in Hahn Racecraft and Star Performance.
