just to be sure do yall think my turbo is bad,its stock t25.... my car just dont have the power that is used to i mean i raced a tiburon(dont know if thats spelled right) gt and got toasted the other night and the turbo is spooled up all the way buy like 3500rpms and its really loud and it wont boost over 9 psi soooooo what do yall think????

 

it could be a number of things, a boost leak, ignition problem, fuel problem. Wastegate problem. If the turbo was gone then it would have a really loud whine when its spooling

 

Either you have a junk turbo or a boost leak. Do a boost leak test FIRST. Does your turbo spool sound like a hissing or anything else?

 

nah the turbo doesnt hiss it sounds pretty nice actually ive checked for leaks and found none how do i check for the other things that TheEngineer mentioned ignition problem, fuel problem. Wastegate problem.

 

Your BOV could be junk... im not sure how to test for that actually...

Nope... nothing like what you have described. Check plugs and wires! Either that or just replace them

 

Yeah thats pretty bad... losing to a tiburon gt. I raced one with my stock turbo (he's a friend) and I gave him a 1 car and a half head start and I still beat him. He also had intake and exhaust. I just had the BOV, catback, intake, and removed BCS.

I am not sure what to tell you. But I guess listen to Engineer. At one point I had that same problem, and it kept pissing me off. I had an air leak by the intercooler. I guess try checking there even though you said you have, just take a quick look. My coupler had ripped and had a gash in it where the air would escape. Hope that might be it. Out of a million things....lol.
