yup sounds like overboosting. Turn the MBC all the way down so that your only boosting of the wastegate, and get a boost guage before you damage your car

who said an intake was a bad idea? I said your overboosting. Your MBC is set too high. You need to lower it

the intake is a good idea, but get a boost gauge first, they're not too expensive, hook it up but turn your MBC down before youdestroy your motor, It would suck to blow the engine for something that simple to change.
