Default vacume hose?

alright i have a question...I have a 97 gst and for those of you that have one...you know the hose the runs from the valve cover to the intake? Well i keep on getting oil sucked down into the intake from that hose. Is it possible to cap the intake hole off and put a breather filter on the valve cover hole to eliminate this oil problem? Will it create any problems?

You're talking about the PCV hose right?? When was the last time you changed your PCV valve? It should be done every 20-30K miles OR once a year. if that valve is bad you could blow the vlave cover gasket or it may be the culprit for your current dilema. The part will cost less than $10 (Installed even at most shops LOL). It might be worth checking out.

no not the pvc hose...the hose that runs from the valve cover to the intake tube. Plus, in my state they dont check for emissions. but other than that will it create any more problems?

no problems its fine. just pull the hose out, or install a breather filter/catch can in between that hose to catch the oil

If you do a catch can make sure that you do put a breather on one of the holes of the catch can. I hooked a greddy up to mine when I first got the car per the instructions and for a while I couldent under stand why the car was leaking so much oil.
