Valve Cover oil run off

Valve Cover oil run off
Ok, I know the video is gay, but I made it awhile back when I was still questioning the issues with the headgasket and valve cover leaking. Now that I'm replacing it all I'm not too worried about it, furthermore I am wondering about something else, which I did ask on this video, and that is what the oil line is for that runs off the side of the valve cover. I noticed a filter on Natedogg89's engine in the exact spot I am talking about. Can a few of you tell me what I can do instead of having a damn rubber hose run off, it looks gay and I'm pretty sure it spits small amounts of oil on the side of my engine.

Thanks for letting me use your engine Natedogg89, it looks way better than my stupid rubber hose.

well i dont know about on those, but the connector thing on the back of the valve cover on the 1.8 is a vaccume connection, going from there to the air intake pipe... i dont even know what that hose is

RE: Valve Cover oil run off
Its just a run offfrom the valve cover. You will sometimes find a little oil in your intake, thats why. If you want to avoid that, then get an oil catch can and block off the nipple on the intake.
