Hello Everyone, I'm a newbi on here so please bear with me. I just replaced the valve cover gasket on my 99 Galant ES, Has 180K on the ODO so I figure I change it. I put the new gasket on the first time and it leaked due to the gasket tearing when I tightened the bolts down, So I took it off and added some black RTV and re used the torn gasket, I tightened them down hand tight because I don't have an inch pounds torque wrench. Now it's seapin a bit of oil through the front, any sugestions on what to do? Buy a new gasket, different RTV? Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.
