RE: Water pump
if you can change out a timing belt, then you can do the water pump. There is only a few more steps after removing the timing belt and all the parts before taking the water pump out. So if you feel comfortable with a timing belt then go for it

RE: Water pump
yea i was thinking about that..... never did it before. but i figure if i dont turn the crank or the cams will i mess up the timing? i mean any pointers on getting the belt back on like should i put the teeth for the cam gears on first and move to the left or right or what??

RE: Water pump
you have to remove the timing belt in order to do the removal. The bestadvice i can tell ya is to go and buy a haynes manual. They are only like $20 and will have all the steps to doing it correctly
