if you can change out a timing belt, then you can do the water pump. There is only a few more steps after removing the timing belt and all the parts before taking the water pump out. So if you feel comfortable with a timing belt then go for it

yea i was thinking about that..... never did it before. but i figure if i dont turn the crank or the cams will i mess up the timing? i mean any pointers on getting the belt back on like should i put the teeth for the cam gears on first and move to the left or right or what??

you have to remove the timing belt in order to do the removal. The bestadvice i can tell ya is to go and buy a haynes manual. They are only like $20 and will have all the steps to doing it correctly
