So I was under the car running the new -6 AN fuel line and i noticed my transfer case looks like its leaking from where the yoke enters it. As I work my way toward the engine bay it looks like my transmission is leaking from the passenger side axle seal (tranny fluid coating the underside of the transmission and around the axle). I just replaced my clutch and can't see how I would have f^%#$% up any seals. Is there even a seal on the end of the transfer case? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks guys.
The transfer case leak is very common on 2g's. In fact that is one thing that everyone should check when going to buy one. Here is the good 'ole dsm bible on it

i forgot about that recall. Why would mitsubishi quote me a price on fixing it if its supposed to be fixed for free? Those penny pinching a$$holes. What about the axle seals? How did they magically start leaking after my clutch install? How did the transfer case start leaking? thanks guys and as always thanks john
Just called the dealer... they want me to come in on saturday so they can check it out and figure out what parts they may need. Pretty gay..... there goes my dyno tuning this weekend...
I'm with TE...sounds kinda fuel related too..like he said a new fuel filter should be put on and they are a cheap fix..change the plugs and wires if they haven't been changed in a while...I had a '97 Spyder GS at one point and it would run like **** until it hit about 3,000 RPM's...chugging, idling like crap, etc....I had my brother take a look at it and he replaced the plugs and wires and that's all it was thank God...Ran beautifully after that...Find someone with a scan tool too and see if any codes come up.
