What is the aproxament weight of stock flywheel?

They are pretty heavy.. Not really much of a gain though for the money spent on it unless your going all out and trying to cut everything you can for weight aspects..

Definetly worth it IMO. Its not all about the weight that you save, sure that little bit doesnt seem like alot but thats not what lightening a flywheel is for. Its more about the inertia. You reduce that by ALOT by getting a lightened flywheel. So id do it, especially if yours is getting old, and youd have to get it resurfaced anyway, might as well spend the little extra

going to have to agree with TheEngineer on this one... cutting rotating mass is a big help especiall in the engine... it will increase your rev time quite a bit. close to the same benefit as a lighweight crankshaft. if you have the money and ur replacing the clutch anyways. i'd do it.
