one of the main functions of a flywheel (besides engaging with the clutch) is to counterballance the engine. different flywheels for different model engines come with a different weight kinda forged into it. if you look at the back of the flywheel, you can usually see them. if you put the wrong flywheel on an engine, it will be off balance and you will more then likely be able to feel a vibration in the car that wasnt there previously..

Can i ask why you went with ACT rather than Fidanza?

 

Well I wanted a performance flywheel but the ACT was slightly heavier so I choose that so that it would have a little better driveability.

 

I think maybe you are missing the point. The entire point is to be as light as possible. Reducing rotational mass.... but okay

 

lol. But a heaver one is robbing the power to the wheels is that not a good thing? I drive an AWD car so we all know I am a fan of drivetrain power loss
