Default What can I do to my GST

Ok heres a wierd story. Today I race a stock lookin civic. He basically smoked me like nothing. He turns into auto zone and I follow, when I caught up to him I ask what he has under the hood he says its stock. Im like what? He shows me and all he had was different headers and an intake. But he also said he had his engine runnin at higher RPMs. I have no idea but that thing was damn fast. So does n e one know what I can do to my GST to make it a little quicker for not so much money?

if it is not so much money as in up to a 800 dollars than get a exhaust if you can on stock gsx geta boost controler an get the head ported and polished. these will help some what but for a sugnificant increase new turbo.

port and polish the head and the O2 housing, turbo back exhaust....

Im confused though.. did you mis-shift? there is no possible way that a stock civic would beat a stock GST. civics are like 140hp (if even that) and your GST is around 215hp... sounds kinda ODD to me.either he is not tellin you something (i.e. he's runnin juice) or something is drastically wrong with your car. is your turbo spooling properly?

He must of had juice, I have killed many civic si's from hatches, to coupes, and I have smoked all of them and I don't even race them any more because its a waste of gas now.

what you can do... to start, is stop racing civics.. all it is, is a waste of your gas. two, start working on exhaust (i.e. the porting we talked about, including the O2 housing, and turbo back, you have an intake already, so next would be intercooler to make the air cold, OR fuel system upgrade to get more gas to the engine... not trying to make you feel dumb, but more COLDER air and more fuel = more hp.. so...)
