i'm thinking about buyin 2nd gen gs-t and was wonderin if it was easy to bore out the engine, and what are some cheap things you can do to make it fast, and did the 2nd gen come with a short shifter<edited><editID>nate5023</editID><editDate>38042.8746990741</editDate></edited>

Bore out the engine? Why? What? Why? Upgrading the turbo will give you more performance than boring out the engine. Anyway, if you want a bigger engine, there was a factory "big block" offered. The eclipse's didn't come with short shifters. Don't know where you got that from...you can buy one though. Lot's of cheap things you can do to make it fast. Look at the vfaqs.

why is right... you'd be better off going to DSMtuners.com, and using the "Go fast recipe" works like a charm, specially for new comers.
