Alright, so I do have to change the fan..... which sucks. Anyway, I have a big 16G turbo with the gay little stock intercooler (at least it does its job), but I want something bigger. I do have a friend of mine that was a pipe bending machine and he would do it for me for free. But if I got the piping and he bent it, wouldnt bending it make it a little smaller in diameter? Also I would like bolt on instead. I was actually thinking of the one off www.dejonpowerhouse.com. Its a kit (the first one under 2nd generation, and then click on Frontmount IC) Its bolt on, and its only $475. What do you guys think about that one? I wish I can post the website, but it directs you straight to dejonpowerhouse.com.

It would not make it smaller diamiter. How do you think anybody else bends pipes?

well actually if he doesnt have a mandrel pipe bender then at the bends it will pinch the pipe a bit. I wouldnt have it done unless its mandrel bent

I had a guy bend my lower intercooler piping so that it wouldnt hit my fan, and it pinched it a little bit. Thats what I meant. And I dont really want that.

I guess I am going to go with the dejonpowerhouse.com intercooler kit. Its only $475 and it includes the piping, couplers, hardware, and the core. What do you guys think? (refer to pics I posted)

Only a couple things i noted about it. That it looks as though it uses part of the stock UIP where the BOV bolts on. There really isnt anything wrong with that i guess. And that you have to do what they say "small modifications to the front bumper. Not exactly sure how bad those are.

I dont think its that bad. I only have to buy the fan and I am changing it to the 97-99 front bumper and headlights. I dont think its that bad. It shouldnt be bad.

Is that it? Anything else you guys see wrong? I dont want to buy it if its a lot of work.
