i say buy it.....you can always PRINT it off the computer....you know they do make printers.

I have the online service manual for my 3G and i print pages out all the time. it also seems that service manual is the actual factory service manual. something the chiltons is not. ive heard bad things about the chiltons b/c it doesn't really explain anything.

Although it's likely to be an illegal copy of the FSM- it's not much of a risk at that cost. Most manufacturers no longer issue FSM to their dealerships as standard. They send CD's in it's place. If a particular dealer wants the convenience of an paperback FSM, it has to be ORDERED at the dealers expense.

i worked for a dodge dealership, and had access to the StarParts system, and it looked JUST like that...that thing wont be as useful as some aspects of a chltons or haynes manual, but having used it extensively, if you have mechanical knowledge, you wont need much more than that system. hell, the technicians used to come back to ask us to look at schematics so they knew what they were getting into. understand that if that is what i think that it is, it shows you page by page, every single part with a number on the entire car...

At the shop I worked at we used the Mitchell1 program. Seemed to be fairly thorough as far as what we needed. If you know how to read blueprints/schematics then it should be fine. The Mitchel's program even gave fairly good descriptions of things and how to do/find some things. But then again we had 3/4 experienced techs and me I know how to read blueprints so I was good to go.
