I have a nice new light on my dash warning me about something. It looks like a jug half filled with water. Is it a water pump light? It's on the right side of my 95 turbo eclipse dash.

Man, I really hope I don't have to replace my water pump.

Its not a water pump light.
Its either a low coolant, indicating you have a coolant leak or coolant is evaporating.
or its a low was light, meaning your washer wiper fluid is low.

 

Josh is right, it's an obvious fluid light. I'm not trying to be a ***** but wouldn't the next common sense thing to do is check all your fluid levels?

 

Thx Josh/Silver. I checked the coolant and it's fine. It must be the windshield washer fluid coz I've been using it alot lately. Thing is I thought that light looked different. Let me refill it.

Can this be a transmission fluid warning?

I filled my coolant, window washer fluid, power steering fluid, checked clutch and brake and oil. Would check trans but that requires I get under the car and right now I can't do that.

Or could this issue be an electrical prob and the light won't go off?

Yea... the radiator/coolant one looks like a carousel in my 95 TSi.... Amusingly referred to as my "carousel light"

 

Do you have a manual for the car, it should tell you what the warning lights are. Or at least give us a picture of it.

 

Yea, I dont think Ive ever seen a waterjug lookin half empty on my instrument cluster...
