the valves wouldnt make any difference, but with a 4g63 na or turbo, you would need more compression in the NA engine. also, i would assume that the internals are forged on the turbo motors, but not the NA?

like what? on the NA version, the compression HAS to be higher, or it would have no power at all. as for the forged internals, gsx guys? you all have stock forged internals, right?

Yes, the 4g63t has lower compression then the 4g63 n/t because the turbo adds compression to the cyls. And like you said a n/a motor with a compression of 160psi would be slower then a retard in a 100 meter dash.

forged internals yes and no.

The 4g63-t internals are much stronger than those in the 420a and the 4g63 n/t but their not forged persay. They can handel high compression via nitrus and/or boost. But they have a limit. Taking a 6 bolt apart and putting in some egal rods and wise co. pistons would be similar to a oem rebuild but putting in some crower rods and ross pistons would be a bit stronger than stock.

I was talkin about the forged part... And as for the valves that's what I've been able to gather is that the Turbo has biger valves in the head but the head itself is exactly the same.
