with that 46 trim or 50 trim, ect depending on which one you go with is really dependant on your HP goals because if all your looking for is below 350hp and you dont have too much to spend like 3k+ then the 16g is more what you want. But if you want between 350-450 then i think the 50-trim is one of the best turbos out there and FP makes a good one. They have great spool and good max power

OK well, I want to spend the least amount of money possible upgrading my turbo. I can do things like port and polish on my own, Around 350 would be good, I don't want things to break alot, I want to keep it somewhat reliable. So what would be the best option?

I am also going to do all the supporting mods, just in case you are wondering.

Search for a used EVO III 16g. Look on DSMTrader.com and DSM Tuners.com

Ok so I got a really good deal on an evo III with install kit. I know that I can only run 16 max without supporting mods. I was just wondering if I am going to notice any power difference without more boost?

Yes you will. A lot in fact. The turbo will engage harder, acceleration will feel more crisp and responsive. You will also notice it in the high end, this is because the stock T25 cant produce full boost at anything near redline, so you will actually have a lot more power on the top end.

I hope you got one with a 34mm flapper and not the 32. The 32 tends to cause boost creep a lil. Basically its when the boost reaches your set point, and kinda stops, but creeps up slowly. The way to overcome this is to get an external wastegate.

Its not mandatory at all. But if you want to go for it. It will just decreace spool time a little.

Email the dude and ask him the size of the wastegate.

No its kinda built into the turbo itself.

I would just leave it.
