Hey on my 98 dodge avernger es 2.0 420a i got a code and it is say that it is code PO340 camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction so im assuming that i have to replace a cam sensor so i was wondering if the avenger has one sensor or two because when i rebuilt me 3000gt sl engine it had 2 sensors also where would the sensor/s be located?

there is only one cps and if the sensor is bad usually the car wont even start. You could try and replace it but i would check the wiring to it first. I believe the repair manual wil have a way to check the voltage at the sensor to see if its bad

Did you just get the code while driving or were you tinkering with some other stuff? BTW, is the sensor clean?
