Default What size rims can my 97' spyder hold?
what size rims do yall have, im gonna put on some black rims on my silver spyder. just wondering what's the biggest size an eclipse can hold

ive seen up to 19's, but it had some suspension mods, id say stic with 18's if your only doin the rims, 19's are just too big IMO anyway........

As far as switching rims go, it all depends on how much suspention work you want to do. It can involve new cam kit, suspention lift and deffinatly new allignment. Like the other guy said stick to 18"

unless you want to really stand out you can get some nice 17's, cheaper for tires and the rims and can still look really nice. Especially lowered slightly.

you shouldnt need any work, depending on how wide they are! Mine are 18" by 7.5 and they fit perfectly, i dont need a camber kit or nothing!

I had 20's on my 1999 Eclipse with no problem.
I now have 19's on it now....With no mods or camber kits.

if ur increasing from the stock rim size a cam kit is always a good idea, if you dont youll find your tires wear incorrectly which can effect the traction and handling of the car..........
