Default What type of turbo??

What size turbo comes in a stock 96 gs-t?I wanna change the stock SMIC to a aftermarket FMIC,howw many adjustments do i need to do for that change?I dont wanna get a huge turbo,i just want a good enough turbo that wont give me problems with the stock engine,

you sound like you have alot to learn... I would suggest some research before doing any drastic mods.

but the stock turbo is a T-25 they are only good to about 17 psi and you can only run 15 on stock fuel system anyways.

so for more PSI you need more fuel and a better turbo depending how far you want to go

and to change from the smic to the fmic you will only need to buy a piping kit, unless you plan on custom making the piping. then the intercoolr, there are a couple that will bolt right up to the frame of the car. I think its dejon that makes a good cheap one. And then you have a bit of relocating to do like the Power steering cooling line, then youll have to clip some of the front bumper because it wont fit in there otherwise with the 95-96 front. And if you are serious about doing a turbo upgrade then the evo III 16g is a great turbo to do that with, but like emonz said its more than just putting in a turbo. You need all the supporting mods. So do lots of research before you start anything
