I'm far from new. I use to have a GS-T and went through many cars and finally wound back up in one because I missed it so much. I just don't post on here everyday. I check frequently, but usually when I give someone advice I write their AIM or I send them a pm. I always liked getting an answer soon and being able to ask questions at that exact moment. Not send messages back and forward waiting hours sometimes a day for an answer. Sometimes you don't always have that kind of time, not dissing anyone just saying that I myself feel that i'm actually helping someone that way. So I apologize that i don't have 5,000 +post there are a ton of other people on here that have way more time to go through and help everyone the second they log on and they are the ones that get to it before I do. I don't feel that makes you any better than me in any way, shape, or form. Some people are busier than others. Also I did search a little but I wasn't finding what I needed. I didn't realize they had an actual F.A.Q sticky.
I've worked on many cars and some cars electrical systems you just have to learn all over again. Ever worked on a blazer for a friend? You'll hate your life. AnywaysA DSM is far from a Honda. I'm use to hondas, you have to start somewhere. I'm not afraid to admit that I have to ask all of these questions because I honestly don't know the answer. So to all the immature kiddies on here saying "I hope you snap your crank" and "Your a D-Bag" etc. I think we all know who is the smarter one and will be snapping their crank.

RacerX is running a 20g also. IF HE WOULD USE HIS BRAIN! he would turn up the boost though lol he's running 7.0:1 compression and only running 19psi and wondering why his car takes so long to spool but boyyyyy if he turned up the boost and used his compression to his advantage his car would be sick nasty!!!! if i were runnin a gs-t i'd definatly run a 20g, no use running anything bigger than that b/c of traction.

You know a lot about GS-T's RCJR9186. You need to just sell your car and get one.

hah.. I like the 20g.. Im runnin about 17-18lbs right now, but I have a ring that is toast I believe.. I wouldnt go over 16 If I did it again, until i was ready to rebuild.. But at 16lbs The tires were spinning from about 4 grand till I shifted in the first 3 gears... It pulls great on the interstate doing about 70.. Im gonna be buying parts and by next spring Im hoping to have a rebuilt 6 bolt ready to be swapped in... Its hard to say exactly what im pushing to the wheels.. But id like to think anywhere from 300-350... I was gonna get it dynoed but now im not sure with the ring going on me.. Ill have to see..

if i had a choice in the matter and my car was an eclipse it would be a GSX w/ a fp3065. i can run anywhere from 350 on low boost, flip a switch to a differnt map, hit a button on my boost controller and be good to go at about 650whp. if it was a GS-T iduno... i wouldn't want anymore than between 350 and 400whp... i don't see a point when all you do is spin and have nothin but an interstate car. i have5 friends w/ srt-4s. one is only at like 270whp and is spinning when he hits boost in 3rd... that's just stupid to me. Even if i had a Supra... i wouldn't put anymore than 500-600whp into it.
