I recently came into a boggle.

I have an 02 Monte Carlo SS with custom air intake blah blah, LED tail lights and wanted to start upgrading other things as well.

I have always wanted an Eclipse.

The Monte is getting too damn expensive for gas and upgrading costs a bundle compared to all other cars.

Would you guys sell your monte for an eclipse or would you keep the monte and just upgrade that?

I'm in the state of mind where I want the eclipse more cuz its sleeker and alot cheaper on gas *big issue of montes* and alot cheaper to mod......

If you REALLY want to mod I'd go with the Eclipse. Pricewise and eaze of modding are BIG plusses of the Eclipse. Besides I think the Monte's are ugly anyways

wat model n year eclipse? I'd say if u got the money n time 2 look go for teh GSX, if u find one. If u juss want sumthin turboed go GS-T, if not then RS/GS.

 

I found an 03 gs
but also a 98 gst

the looks of the 00+ are better in my opinion than the older ones. but we'll see, they are 4k difference in price too

 

ditch the chevy! I've only owned one in my life and it was the worst vehicle ever. Chevy is an over priced has been. I like their old stuff but this newer stuff is way over priced for the quality involved. Go eclipse all the way, after a couple of grand you'll be leaving chevy's in the dust anyway.

 

if you are just lookiing for the max mpg nothing really fast go gs if u want a fast car and better MPG than the chev go GSX/Gs-T

 

get a decent civic in mechanical order then buy a trashed 6 bolt gsx

very strong motor i have had no issues with mine at all. very easy to mod.
