Why is it nearly $3,000 to paint a car???? That's ridiculous....I priced the paint at about a little under $1,000. $2,000 in service work to paint cars....wow. Anyone selling a 95-99 GST with a body kit that's already been painted??? Or do you know a good place on the NE coast of USA to get a car painted for less then $2,000???

If you have ever tried to properly install a fiberglass body kit then you would understand. It is a very long process a fiberglass kit almost never fits correctly which means alot of prep work before even getting it on the car lots of cutting sanding and reglassing. then sanding the entire car down tapeing it off and repainting and clearcoating then you gotting wetsand and buff it. Its not a fast process can take a week or more. Fiberglass is very expensive to have installed and its not worth it IMO cuz it will stress crack and if you bottom out or hit something forget about it, it will shatter into peices.

 

I live in the SW area but I had my fiberglass bodykit installed and the whole car painted with for $1200.00
