whats the worst that could happen?
i got my trans off today, took the clutch off(very worn btw), and found that my problem was the throwout bearing had completely seized. it will not move at all. The flywheel looks to be in decent shape, and im gonna take it off and have it resurfaced, but im just wondering...whats the worst that could happen if i DONT resurface it, then put on a new clutch?

RE: whats the worst that could happen?
could wear your new clutch out fast. Also could be some shuttering when releasing the clutch. Better safe and just have it resurfaced like you are going to do.

RE: whats the worst that could happen?
The worst that could happen depends on how bad your flywheel is. If it's still true (check it with a straight edge) and just glazed it'll just slip... If it's not true, it will wear out your new clutch disk faster, slip or shutter and could screw up your new TOB depending on how bad it is. I agree turn it while you can if there's any question.

Definately. Turn it while you're in there. It's better to do it and know it's good than to not and always wonder until something breaks.
