I need to know where in the car the wastegate actuator solenoid valve is. I looked in my service manual, and they don't say, I used that visual index of the motor, and he has an MBC so I can't follow the lines there, either.

 

is that where you're trying to remove the restrictor, if thats right, which it probably isn't, then it's below your intake filter.

 

Exactly. Check the eclipse FAQ on BCS removal and there is a picture of the Boost control Solenoid. That what i believe your talking about. If its not there then the person might have removed it and had a MBC installed. If you dont have one then you can run vaccuum lines without a MBC so that it will run strictly off the wastegate. To do that basically look at the vacuum diagram with the MBC and picture it without that even there. And hook them up on that manor
