where to buy a new transmission

i have a 96 eclipse gsx and i was wondering where i can buy a new transmission for my car. i would also like to know if i get a used transmission what years i can us 95-95, 95-99, 90-99 ? thank you

i believe you can use 90-99 but i am not 100% on that. I do know for a fact that you can use a transmission from any 1995-1999 eclipse/talon. But it must be AWD

Do you have a tranny at all? If so go to TRE's website and swap it with one of their rebuilt.

For a used one I think only 95-99 will work, If I am not mistaken the setup for the 1g awd trannys were different then the 2g's.
