Default Wideband and SAFC

Ok so I know i'm getting DSMLink for my car but I needed to know if I need a Wideband and SAFC also to tune it properly.

if your getting dsmlink then you dont needan safc. A wideband is a good idea though, or just a pocket logger.

DSMLink is a tuning device... so is SAFC. Only DSMLink is a little more versatile

Thats what I was thinking too and I didn't want to buy the SAFC if I don't need it cuz I'm purchasing DSMLink. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to get it version 3 will be out.

If it's a 6 bolt would I get the 1g or 2g DSMLink? And the whole motor is a 1g but which gen ecu would I use?

Since it'll be in a 2G, you'll need the 2G version. If you're using a 1G ECU, that means you'll have to redo the instrument cluster to get tach, speed, sensor gauges to read correctly. So, 2G and the version is up to 2.5 now.
The motor isn't what matters, it's the ECU. The ECU controls the motor's timings..see what I'm saying bud?
