will turn over but not start
I just got 96 eclipse duel over head cam non-turbo 2.0, and it was running then it died would remove the negative battery cable then it would start and run for about 30 seconds then it started up and ran good for about an hour, left it at my office that night took it to the shop that had replaced the computer before I bought it they replaced the computer, cam sensor and fuel relay it worked about 2 hours it started acting up well I was not happy so I took it to another shop I could turn the key to accessories then back and it would start well I knew something was wrong so I took it to a shop that is supposed to be really good they did the battery wires and cable and crank sensor well it would stay running about 45 minutes well I was not going to leave it there cause they could not figure it out and I had went to the dealer to get the crank sensor it was only there over night and I had paid them $300 so I took it back to my place had a bunch of people were telling me the coil so I replaced that still nothing then I replaced the ignition and nothing... so I am at a loss so if anyone could help me I would be most appreciated...
So again I have replaced the fuel relay, battery cables, cam/crank sensor, coil pack, ignition switch,

RE: will turn over but not start
when you drive it does it idel really low? like almost stall? From the sounds of it it hasa to be the alternater.you car will run for 45 min on the juice the battery still has but then dieds when the battery is drained. If the alternater was working correct then it would recharge the battery sa you drive. So head down to Autozone and have the battery and alterrnater check done. besides its free to do.

I don't know about anyone else but whenever I have had an alternator fail it just breaks,I can't remember one just doing what you said your car is doing,I guess it's possible for an alternator to do that,I just havn't had one do it to me personally.
