Default is this worth buying? Help me out please

Hey there. I'm really close to buying an Eagle Talon Si. I'm talking to the owner and am ready to buy it. It looks really nice and I've been told by the owner that it has no problems. That really is a nice looking car. Not sure exactly why he put a FMIC with a 14b turbo. There really isnt a hell of alot of mods on it. But they are tasteful none the less. What are they asking. And just so you know. There is no such thing as a talon Si. What that car is, is a Talon TSI-AWD

Very nice! I love those GSX rims too. I'm going to have to find some now.

The suggestion on whether or not to buy would depend on the price.
There's not a lot of "go fast" mods up there, but the 14B is an upgrade from the t25. I can believe that this car is reliable since it doesn't have a "huge" motor mods list...that's not a bad thing either. I label it one level up from stock.
Oh yeah, don't use [code]...use the quote icon right next to the code icon .....

That guy has a lot of cool pics too.

Ok, last edit, lol.
I don't like that he's got a huge fmic for such a small turbo. A few things happen, the turbo works harder to keep the psi up (especially if the MBC is teed off the bov), large pressure drop (more than .5 psi@15psi), and/or a bit of lag (although, not so much on a 14B...but still).

$7,000 for car. $800 for shipping with a car company... and thats the lowest I've been able to find in shipping. Highest has been $1,870.

Cool! I thought you'd say "WOW TOO MUCH!" lol. Nice... No there's nothing wrong with it, just about a 6 inch straight scratch... that's about it.

83K is not high miles at all for a 2g. Actually nowdays around that is desired. Anywhere from 80-100k is good. But with a DSM always comes problems. Have you test driven it. Or are you going to before you buy it since you said you have to have it shipped? Depending on how well it was taken care of the problems could be small or big. But your really cant tell until its been looked at.
