worth it and reflash?
I believe i found the deal of the century this is all included in a kit that a buddy of mine is selling its a 16g conversion that includes fmic, piping, all parts needed to install included as well is,headers, down pipe 2.5 inches and hi flow cat and 16g turbo for $1400.Sorry ADD kicked in , now we were talking about a 16g conversion in another post. Sebba was the one who brought it up. Now I'm waiting on the t 28 i ordered from garret not cheap, but worth it . Now my buddy is offing above said parts, so with these upgrades will i need to reflash, Due to the increased air flow i don't toast any valves. and i'm sure my fuel pressures fine after putting a 255lph walboro in.Do you think its wise to reflash or dyno after these up grades ??? Cause i really want to drive my car not tear the engine out and let it sit for anoter year or so .
Not the deal of the century at all. Also, the T28 is not worth it unless its the GT28RS dual ball bearing turbo... AKA the disco potato. Seriously, $500 for the 16g vs $850 for the normal T28 and $1100 for the dual ball bearing.... not to mention it doesn't have as good of flow. Why the hell would that be worth it?
Also, what the hell is this Vortec BOV? (actually spelled Vortech)
