Which year is better for the gsx?

I"m going to buy an 2nd gen.eclipse gsxin 3 months, but I'm still not sure which year is the best to work with and why. All the mods seem about the same but which platform is better?

97-99 just for the bumpers...................

95-97 motors had the worst problems with crankwalk, 98-99 didnt so far.
i think i like the 2gb better,
evrything as far as modification wise is pretty much the same whatever you get.

Speak english. In other words, the 99s are the best simply because they are newer. Nothing more

Some of the 98's had the crankwalk problem.. There were less in that year.. But I would go with the 99.. Would be less milage and not as much to worry about with crankwalk..
