Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I will be checking on eBay this week to see if I could get one because 600 for that pipe is a bit too much for me . It is just that when I type "cat converter eclipse" in eBay these are the only ones I get - they all look the same to me ((

Thank you, just one last question - is this cat converter universal or it should be specifically designed for Eclipse model?

as long as it will fit your model, i.e. 95-99 n/t, it should work, i dont believe they are engine specific, but you might check with the buyer, or call the stealership and ask them.............. or if you want i can find out for you in a coupla days...........

Hi,

I believe the sensors are universal as they are not directly connected with the engine. What sometimes bothers me is that for some reason 96 GS Spyder does not have the regular 2.0l engine but 2.4l and some of the components for it might be different - like timing belt for example - but the sensors should be ok. Does anyone know a place with more extensive information about the Eclipse 2nd Generation. My car came with no manuals and I want to tune some things up myself but couldn't do it without knowing where to tweak

i know spydergs can help you, otherwise try dsmtuners.com (im goin to hell for recomending them so much), they have just about everything you need to know about eclipse's......... the 2.4 engine is a very good engine and there are lots of little things you can do to make theis engine more powerfull, but as you stated the problem is finding the right bolt ons for our engine...........
