Ok, I know absolutely nothing about motors, transmissions, etc. I DO know that something is wrong with my transmission though and need a new one. I have a 2001 GT eclipse with auto trans. I found a motor AND transmission(automatic) for a 2003 v6 motor for only $300 with 23k miles. Will this work in my car or not? I know that they changed something on the 2003 and newer 3g eclipses so Im not sure if this would affect anything. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Ok, good. It seems like such a good deal, I just want to make sure I am not buying a blown motor or transmission that wont work. But I don't know how to tell if they are seeing that everything is internal on them. Do you know if all the harnesses and brackets will be the same? I really appreciate all the help!
