Unhappy 2001 Eclipse GT oil leak

Owned for the car for almost 6 months now and discovered it had an oil leak a little after. Had a mechanic replace the valve cover gaskets, front and back, and it’s still leaking. I have to refill the oil with 2 new quarts every 2 weeks almost. The leak appears to be coming from the front passenger side. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated as I am running into a wall on what to look for and what to do. I've done some simple searches and have heard anything from the valve cover gasket to the timing belt area.

Maybe you could take it back to the shop that did the work . That sounds like a lot of oil your losing. I had the same problem after service. My shop replaced plug wires / cap and rotor and replace top end gaskets . I had a small leak at the back of the motor on passengers side.

Old thread, but if anyone still cares, I have just posted for help on my '03 GT V6 major oil leak. It's coming from the timing cover, with the pully and belt spewing oil all over.
