2001 Spyder Starter

I need to pull a starter but I dont have much room to get to it. The exhaust runs right underneath it and it doesnt look like I can get around it. Any help?

Have you ever checked out the on-line repair manuals at autozone.com? I just replaced my intake valves on a 96 GST mostly using them.

Nothing for that year. And I cant find a haynes or chiltons either...
