Cabin Air Filter!!
I have a 04 GS, I bought a cabin air filter and cannot get it in. I looked in the Haynes manual and have looked online everywhere. It is suppose to be behind the glove box but when we take it out and the backing behind it.....I can see where the thing is suppose to go but I cant get to it. There is no screws or any way to take it out.....does anyone know how???
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!
its only an 04? usually those cabin filters are good for a good atleast 5 years or so if not more cause they are so hard to get to, on that car, i dont know how to get to it but u shouldnt have to replace it so soon
I thought that the cabin filter option was only in the '00 model? I have an '01 and I've tried accessing it to see if I could replace it too; but the filter wont budge. I'll see if I can find the info about Mitsu taking that option off after '00.

Not really an official statement; but it just seems like most '00 models have them and the rest dont.

Well, that would answer why I couldnt get to it... but why do most major auto parts stores (my hubby is a manager at AAP) carry it for my year and make? I dont know its all been a little too much trouble, lol.
