hey... im new at this but here is whats up,
i just got a 2001 Eclipse GT manual
when i floor it (or close to flooring it) it accl. to about 4500- 5000 rpm and then starts to slowdown and make a sound, seems like its coming from the intake
the car is stock, just has 19s on it
is this normal? or not?
my dad said that the car has a limiting feature that doesnt let the car accl. too fast and reach high RPMs, but i dont believe him
please tell me how to fix this, or what can i do to turn it off if it is a limiting thing.
also my friend test drove the same car on a dealership, and he sais it pulled a lot harder then my car does.
