Default Catalytic converter question

Hey all! I'm new to this forum so hello there to everyone. Question....I've got a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS that I'm trying to sell, but before I do that, I need to replace the cat. Thing is, any professional I've questioned about it says there are two cats on the Eclipse, but after putting it on the lift, I see only one. Am I blind??? So....my question is, ARE there indeed two cats on this car? If so, where the heck is the second one?The only one I see is located near the front of the vehicle. Ok, I'm going to confess...I'm a GIRL, and I know virtually nothing about cars, and it's my boyfriend who put the car up on the lift in his dealership (not Mitsubishi). He's stumped, and therefore am I. So I'm just taking the initiative to question you enthusiasts out there and solve this little problem. I have a potential buyer for the car, and it's in great shape except for the fact that it needs a cat and since I know about this problem, I want to fix it before I sell it. I want to be honest in this deal. Any help anyone can give me is GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks much,
Marissa

how so?.. the fed spec eclipse were everywhere but cali. I had one in Ma. all 2000 eclipses are like this and a few in 01 were. there is nothing wrong with fed specs in fact I highly doubt tha cat is bad. the rear o2 might be bad and that is all if there is a check engine light on
