Default Clutch peddle adjustment

My daughter had to have the clutch and slave cylinder replaced a few days ago. I picked up the car for her, 2002 GS Eclipse, and I had to put the clutch peddle just about through the floor to disengage it. The shop had closed so I coudn't call them. I am not sure how to adjust the peddle with a hydraulic clutch. Can it be done easily?
Thanks

try bleeding the clutch fluid and make sure that the reservoir is full. thats a common reason for that... follow up the clutch pedal and look at all the linkage for the pedal... it is simpler to figure out then it looks..

to adjust the clutch pedal there is a bolt behind the pedal with a nut on it that you loosten first then turn the bolt. I dont know which way you turn it, just play with it. Its kinda a guess and check type thing. Then tighten the nut back up and your good to go.
