i just bought a 2003 eclipse rs and when i have the window rolled all the way up, i cant open the doors on either side..they are power windows. is there an adjustment or fuse that may have blown..i noticed on the 2006 and newer eclipses that when you open the door handles, the window will automatically open 10mm to allow you to open the door,, does the 2003 have the same operation,,if so..what would i need to check or do to fix it..thanks ahead of time

 

no thats a new feature. i didnt even know the new ones had that. your saying if the windows down a little bit you can open the door, but if its up all the way you cant?

 

yep..exactly...is there an adjustment on the window regulator, or is the window not aligned correctly

 

only thing i can think of is it needs adjusted. idk ive never seen that happen before lol. sorry i cant be anymore help
