I'd say the VR-4 i love those cars and even with a stage III supercharger, you will still lack the DOHC and other benefits from the VR-4, so if price isnt too much of an issue I'd say swap with the VR-4, mainly because turbos tend to crank out power and torque in the higher rpm band and superchargers in the low, and since the eclipse already has a powerful high end torque band, the twin turbos of the VR-4 would benefit the car greater by adding to the pre-existing power. only i'd watch the turbo fins carefully the VR-4's tend to get burnt fins on the turbos so make sure you check them thoroughly.

yea the 3000gt and the vr-4 engines are huge, they would not fit in the 3g engine bay without huge modifications.
that being said there has been 1 or 2 twin turbo 3g's gt's and several s/c gt's, it will probably be cheaper to s/c it, not to mention easier and less custom work

The 3000gt motor and the Eclipse GT motor are the same motor, Minus the turbo, intercoolers (there are two on the VR4) and all the piping. The difference and reason why it really cant be swapped is because in the VR4 the motor faces 180 degrees around the opposite way.

The the OP, Stop freaking posting hte same question more than once. We will answer you, as I did in one of your other threads asking this same question, which by the way you could have found out that the VR4 motor would nt work by useing a simple search on the web in 5 minutes
