Default Electronic sound at 4g every gear

I posted about 2 weeks ago it being a bang sound but ive come to think that it is more of an electronic sound. It sounds like my motor is putting out more power when the sound happens its almost like the vtec for a honda. Does anyone know what it is. maybe just a shift reminder or what not.

it actually gets kinda high pitched almost to the sound of a stock supercharger on a VW corrado. The sound only lasts for a split second

Nah i cant post a video as i have a ****ty picture phone and i dropped my digital camera in a lake last week while i was drinkin hurricanes. Ill see if i can borrow my friends cam. The sound is almost scary because your cruisin right and u hit like 4.5rpm and the car beeps at you and hauls *** till you shift again its like a powerband or something. It doesnt always give me power sometimes it like slows the car. its really strange.

I've actually seen this quite a few times and it was due to a wet air factory air filter. A wet factory air filter doesn't flow as much air as a dry one would and actually causes so much of a restriction at high RPM that the intake would make a high pitched squeel/suction noise as the entire intake comes under vacuum. Check your air filter ASAP. If it is wet- replace it and try to avoid driving through standing water, etc.
