Default Front cracking noise

[hr]Hi, Im new here and this is my first post. I have eclipse 2000 gt and I have this weird cracking noise (front: drivers side and passger) when I turn my stearing wheel or when I start moving after stopping. I idea what can it be?

Thats what it sounds like to me, but cv joints will make a clicking noise while your turning. Take a peek under the car and see if te axle boots are ripped.

Junk rotors and pads might be down to the shims?

What kind of cracking? The dashboards on the 3G's are notoriously crappy, so if you take off too fast, stop too quick or make sharp turns, it'll make some good cracking/popping noises in the cabin.
